Research On Elderly Care Service Consortium In Old Beijing

In recent years,the proportion of aging in the core functional areas of the capital,which have entered the stage of deep aging,continues to increase.The degree of aging in Xicheng District is expected to develop to the super-aging level during “the14th Five-Year Plan” period.At present,due to the increasing demand for community home care,various service resources need to be coordinated and integrated.Accordingly,in 2022,Beijing Municipal Government issued “the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Township and Subdistrict Elderly Care Service Consortium”,which mentioned objectives of constructing the elderly care service consortium.In this paper,Niujie Subdistrict in Xicheng District is taken as an example.At present,the aging degree of this subdistrict is quite serious,and it has the characteristics of multi-nationality population,old people living alone and narrow living space of bungalow.In this context,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the layout optimization of relevant public service facilities and the construction of subdistrict elderly care service consortium.The research purposes of this paper is mainly divided into two aspects.First,to investigate the current situation according to the needs,including issuing questionnaires to some blocks of Niujie Subdistrict,conducting in-depth interviews with some elderly people,and suming up the urgent problems to be solved by the elderly in this area;Second,the ideas and countermeasures,through the investigation and analysis of all kinds of public and living space,putting forward the methods to solve the relevant problems,to help the district’s government to implement the subdistrict elderly care service consortium,and choose the Niujie Subdistrict Xizhuan Hutong area,the elderly service facilities and other aspects of the design and transformation.This study consists of the following five aspects:The first part puts forward the research background of this subject,summarizes the research status at home and abroad including policies,academic and practical cases,and briefly introduces the research content,scope and methods.The second part from three aspects of the climate characteristics,population composition,community situations of Niujie subdistrict literature review.At the same time through questionnaire survey of the elderly in this area,observation about senior citizens’ activity pattern,and analysis of the current urgent problems of the old;The third part focuses on the field research of public service facilities closely related to the elderly within the scope of the study,to classify and sort out their current situations;The fourth part analyzes the service range of the existing public service facilities,and obtains the spatial layout of the disrtict.On this basis,combined with the needs of the elderly,this chapter optimizes the layout of all kinds of facilities,and puts forward the construction way of the spatial level of the elderly care service consortium at last.The fifth part selects the Xizhuan Hutong area located in the subdistrict,and builds the spatial significance of elderly care service consortium by relying on the community elderly care service station.
