| With the increasing acceleration on the process of the new industrialization and urbanization,more and more rural children come to study and grow up in cities with their parents.These children are called "rural migrant children".After rural migrant children enter into the city,the living environment they have to faced is different from before.Come to a completely unfamiliar environment,contact with some new things,often make them feel difficult to adapt and at a loss.Therefore,how to guide and help rural migrant children adapt to the life in the city better,grow up happily,has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this study,151 rural migrant children from grades two to nine in LY district were surveyed by questionnaire.Due to the structured information obtained from questionnaire survey,it is difficult to deeply reveal the social adaption problems of rural migrant children,so this study randomly adopts interview survey for supplementary verification.Thirteen rural migrant children,thirteen rural migrant children’s parents and thirteen school teachers were randomly selected for in-depth interviews,and the questions reflected in the questionnaire were verified by interviews.At the same time,the Grounded Theory research method and Nvivo16.0 software were used in the interview,aim to encode the interview data at three levels to analyze the current situation of social adjustment of rural migrant children and the influencing factors of social adjustment of rural migrant children in LY district.The results show that the social adaptability of rural migrant children in LY district is generally well,but there are still exist some problems,such as: rural migrant children’s poor self-adaptation;Family support is insufficient;Inadequate school adaptation;The requirement of socialization conflicts with the social adaptation of rural migrant children.The investigation shows that the factors affecting the social adaptation of rural migrant children mainly include: individual factors,family factors,school factors and social factors.Some thoughts and suggestions are put forward in this study:(1)Strengthen individual education and follow the law of individual physical and mental development;(2)Improve the level of family education and promote children’s good social adaptation;(3)Improve the school guarantee mechanism to provide high quality school education;(4)Promote the development of social services and improve the quality of social adaptation. |
