Study On Social Work Intervention In The Improvement Of Social Adaptation Ability Of Children With Physical Disabilities

In today's society,every family attaches great importance to the development of children,even healthy children.For the special group of children with physical disabilities,their future development and social adaptation become more and more important.In recent years,the state has paid more and more attention to disabled children,but there are few targeted academic research results,which affect the society of children with physical disabilities.It is an indispensable part of the future research on the development of disabled children that the factors that can improve their adaptability and put forward corresponding countermeasures to improve their social adaptability.Therefore,it is urgent to study and explore the social work intervention in improving the social adaptability of children with physical disabilities.The social adaptability of disabled children refers to the ability of implementing adaptability of disabled children in daily life for better survival due to congenital or acquired physical defects,and to achieve harmony with society.It is generally believed that social adaptability includes the following aspects: personal self-care ability,communication ability,social communication ability,basic labor ability,the ability to choose and engage in a certain profession,and the ability to restrict oneself with ethics.In a sense,it refers to the ability of social intercourse,dealing with affairs and interpersonal relationship.At the same time,social adaptability is an indirect expression of feedback on a person's comprehensive quality and ability,as well as the expression of the individual's ability to integrate into society and accept society.For children,they need all kinds of help in the process of understanding the world,and for children with physical disabilities,they may need more help,but also more urgent.It is more difficult for them to improve their adaptability.They have the need to make friends,they have the need to communicate,they have the need to talk,and so on.The reality of disabled children is that they are over-protected and interfered by their parents and lack the opportunity to participate in social activities.From the survey,we can find that disabled children aged 8-12 need to improve their social adaptability most urgently.Parents of disabled children say that they can't accompany their children to grow up all their lives.Whether children can take care of themselves,conduct normalsocial interaction and seek personal development in the future will be their biggest concern.They want their children to start learning basic self-care as soon as possible,and learn to communicate and express themselves in the process of getting along with others.However,the improvement of social adaptability is a long-term process,and the effect will not be immediate.Community workers hope that social workers can carry out activities to train basic living ability to help disabled children find themselves in a different perspective.It is not only a kind of spiritual support for parents,but also can improve the development of disabled children's own ability.In this study,children with physical disabilities in X community of Anshan City were selected as the research object.On the basis of understanding and combing the relevant research results of predecessors,we should grasp the main research directions and results that affect the improvement of social adaptation ability of disabled children,and comb them from three levels: individual,family and society.Through case interviews,questionnaires,group activities and other means,to understand the social adaptability of children with physical disabilities,and to assess the needs of team members.Therefore,on the basis of needs assessment,the author designs and implements a group work programme to help children with physical disabilities improve their social adaptability.Through the comparison of pre-test and post-test data,feedback from members and the author's observation to evaluate the effectiveness of team work,it is found that the common concern and efforts of individuals,families and society can achieve better results.
