Study On Model Workers Group In Taihang Base Area

The model worker is an important force to promote the progress of society.Since the beginning of the labor competition during the Agrarian Revolutionary War,China’s model worker selection has a history of nearly a hundred years.The revolutionary war is the origin stage of the selection of model workers,and it is also the most prominent period of the role of model workers.As one of the important bases established by the Communist Party of China in North China,the Taihang Base Area had become the focus of competition among various forces because of its important strategic position.The reason why it can grow and develop in the harsh environment behind the enemy and play a huge role in the revolutionary war is inseparable from the leadership of the party,the unity and cooperation of the military and civilians in the region,and the dedication and sacrifice of the Taihang model workers.Under the objective conditions of severe war situation,natural disasters and urgent need to improve productivity,the generation of Taihang model workers has its inevitability.The two Conferences of Heroes held in 1944 and 1946 commended a large number of model workers and directly promoted the formation of Taihang model workers group.Some of the typical model workers such as Li Shunda,Zhao Hengde,Zhen Rongdian,Zhang Lanying and so on.Although they are in different industries and regions,their deeds and experiences reflect the common role characteristics of the Taihang model workers: the firm followers of the Communist Party,excellent workers,excellent organizers and defenders of the interests of the masses.The Taihang model workers played a unique demonstration and leading role in military,economic,ideological and political aspects,and made an indelible contribution to the victory of the revolutionary war.The successful practice of the Taihang model worker group fully demonstrates the strong power of the model worker in promoting social construction.Taking the two Conferences of Heroes in Taihang Base Area as the starting point and the Taihang model workers group as the research object,this paper summarizes the important experience of the Taihang model workers group to provide inspiration for the work of the model workers in the new era and provide useful reference for comprehensively promoting socialist modernization.
