Research On Urban Space Evolution And Governance Path Oriented At Innovation Needs Of Chengdu

In the era of knowledge economy,the construction of innovative cities has become an important grasp to promote the construction of innovative power and pursue the stage of high-quality economic development,which also puts forward new requirements for urban space.As a response to the innovation demand in urban space,urban innovation space governance has also become an important issue and inevitable choice for each city.Therefore,it is especially important to guide the orderly development and effective governance of urban innovation space in response to urban innovation needs,to achieve effective and powerful support for high-quality urban development,and it is also important to study the evolution and governance path of urban innovation space.After sorting out the research progress and theories,this thesis uses Python and Arc GIS software and combines spatial statistical methods to study the spatial evolution of Chengdu city driven by innovation demand,using high-tech enterprises as the main representatives of Chengdu’s urban innovation space.Moreover,the factors influencing the evolution of the innovation space are also analyzed.Finally,a path for urban space governance in Chengdu oriented to innovation needs is constructed,and suggestions are made for the orderly development and effective governance of urban innovation space,as well as the promotion of high-quality urban development.The static distribution characteristics of Chengdu’s urban innovation space are characterized by a single core,two axes,and multiple centers;the scope of innovation activities is small,medium,and micro,and industry clustering is observed;the multi-level innovation factors are coordinated in the urban space to form a networked innovation space organization;the innovation space shows significant regional heterogeneity.In terms of dynamic evolutionary characteristics,Chengdu’s urban innovation space shows synchronization with the process of urban industrialization,with an obvious trend of expansion toward the southeast;the spatial pattern of innovation activities has coexistence of dispersion and agglomeration,and circle development;the innovation space has formed a "core-edge" pattern.The spatial pattern of innovation activities tends to both decentralization and agglomeration,and a tendency of overflowing from the central city to the suburban new cities;the innovation space has significant correlation and agglomeration characteristics.The combination of top-level design guidance,intracity changes,innovation networks,and guarantees have been influential in the development of Chengdu’s urban innovation space.Subsequently,according to the analysis of the characteristics and factors of urban innovation space in Chengdu,a targeted path is proposed on how to effectively govern urban space in Chengdu under the innovation drive,with the target orientation of promoting the rational layout of innovation space,enhancing the city’s scientific and technological innovation strength and promoting the city’s economic transformation,with the following specific strategies: strengthening the regional collaborative innovation development in Chengdu and Chongqing;giving full play to the guiding role of territorial spatial planning;promote the integration of industries and cities by relying on the construction of industrial functional zones;revitalize the innovation function of the stock space based on urban renewal;create a collaborative innovation network gathering diversified innovation elements;and improve the system guarantee system and infrastructure construction.
