| Persons with disabilities are an extremely important force in developing human civilization,upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics,and promoting reform,development and stability.To promote targeted and sustainable employment for persons with disabilities is the key and basic guarantee for promoting the high-quality development of the cause of the disabled in the new era,and ensuring them to live a better and happier life.As a very special and important part of the disabled group,the visually disabled have long been troubled by problems such as narrow employment outlet and large obstacles compared with other types of disabled people,and thus,their employment problem needs more professional support and in-depth research.It is of great significance,under the general trend of digital empowerment,to explore the employment behavior of the visually disabled to promote them to achieve more full and higher quality employment,guarantee their development and employment rights,and promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the disabled cause in China.Based on the social theory of the disabled,human capital theory and the expended theory of planned behavior,this paper analyze the mechanism and influencing factors of the employment behavior of the visually disabled by using case analysis,theoretical deduction and partial least squares structure equation model(PLS-SEM).The results reveal that the visually disabled persons’ employment behavior of digital empowerment is mainly indirectly reflected in resource empowerment,skills empowerment,and life empowerment,and directly reflected in career empowerment,entrepreneurial empowerment,and psychological empowerment.Its practice areas include digital employment information,digital education and training,digital barrier-free life scene,digital new employment form,digital entrepreneurship platform,and digital equality concept.In order of effect size,the factors that have a significant positive impact on digital employment behavior are social attitude,perceived behavioral control,and subjective norm.Behavioral attitude does not have a significant impact on their digital employment behavior.Perceived behavioral control and subjective norm play very important roles in mediating the effects of behavioral attitude,perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,and social attitude in influencing employment behavior.As a result,the external attitude barrier,physical barrier and technical barrier,such as social concepts,employment technical difficulty,environmental accessibility and digital divide,are important factors affecting their digital employment.Finally,following the principles of multi-subject participation,multi-dimensional,whole-chain and feasibility,and in order to break down the technical,physical and attitudinal barriers to the employment of the visually disabled,this paper suggests that it is very necessary to improve digital infrastructure,build employment support system and establish new concept of disabled persons. |
