| The rapid increase in the elderly population in China has caused a sharp increase in the pressure on the elderly care issue in China.With the growth of age,the physical condition of the elderly is getting worse,and the level of self care is getting lower.At the same time,people’s living standards are continuously improving.The elderly’s demand for elderly care is not only manifested in material aspects,but also in higher levels of emotional and spiritual needs.The traditional elderly care model is gradually unable to meet the elderly’s elderly care needs,and the contradiction between the elderly care service needs and the uneven and inadequate development of elderly care services is increasingly prominent.The use of information and intelligent means to provide services for the elderly has met the elderly’s desire to live in the family for elderly care.Embedding intelligent elderly care into the development of an aging society is both an objective need to actively respond to population aging,It also provides new ways and ideas to solve the elderly care problem.On the basis of combing the relevant literature at home and abroad,using Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and welfare pluralism theory,the paper first systematically analyzes the current situation of the supply of smart home-based elderly care services in Shandong Province,then analyzes the influencing factors of the demand and demand willingness of smart home-based elderly care services in Shandong Province based on the questionnaire survey of 1048 urban elderly people in Shandong Province,and finally puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the smart home-based elderly care services in Shandong Province.The main conclusions of the paper research are as follows:(1)The aging problem in Shandong Province is serious.Because of the core of family structure,the traditional family pension is difficult to sustain.With the development and maturity of information technology,transforming elderly care services from traditional artificial to intelligent can timely and effectively meet the diverse elderly care needs of the elderly,and comprehensively improve the well-being of the elderly population.The typical operation modes of smart home elderly care services in Shandong Province have their own characteristics,but there are problems in the service,such as low level of intelligent infrastructure,incomplete relevant policies,and shortage of professional service personnel.(2)The elderly have a strong demand for smart home care services.The most preferred smart home care service model for the elderly is the phone appointment or consultation model.The most needed smart life care services for the elderly are one click call meal assistance and bath assistance services;The most needed smart healthcare service is sign monitoring;The most needed intellectual and spiritual comfort service is mental health care.(3)A study was conducted on the influencing factors of the demand for smart home elderly care services,and it was found that health status,frequency of emotional interaction with children,perceived product usefulness,perceived product usability,ability to use communication devices,information query ability,social software usage,privacy awareness,and family norms have a significant impact on the demand for smart home elderly care services.(4)Further analysis of the selection of smart home care services reveals that the smart home care services in Shandong Province are mainly divided into three categories: telephone appointment or consultation,smartphone program appointment or consultation,and digital television appointment or consultation.Compared to telephone appointment or consultation methods,elderly people who are female,have poorer health conditions,are unmarried,perceive product usability as higher,have higher communication device capabilities,stronger information query capabilities,and have a more harmonious family atmosphere are more inclined to choose smartphone program appointment or consultation methods;Elderly people with a college degree or above,higher perceived product usability,higher ability to use communication devices,stronger information query ability,stronger ability to use social software,and stronger problem-solving ability have a higher recognition of digital TV appointment or consultation methods.(5)The countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing smart home care services in Shandong Province include: increasing the awareness of elderly people towards smart home care services;Enhance the usability and practicality of smart home care products;Assist the elderly in learning and using smart home care products and services;Establish and improve a digital ability training system for the elderly;Diversified supply entities promote the development of smart home elderly care services;Strengthen the construction of a talent team for smart home care services,and assist in the promotion and application of smart home care services. |
