With the continuous reform and development of educational,it is generally accepted that universities,middle schools and elementary schools should promote the integration of ideology and politics.In the broader context of the Great Ideological and Political Education,not only are elementary school teachers of ideological and political need to undertake the fundamental task of standing up and cultivating virtue,but also mathematics teachers should undertake this job.When teaching subject,they should not only impart knowledge,but also reinforce the moral education function of the subject,and foster virtue and behaviour among students.This paper seeks to combine its own elementary school mathematics teaching practice with a study of how elementary school mathematics teachers can enhance the ability to nurture virtue in the teaching of their subject.The most important way for teachers tonurture students’ virtue is to reinforce moral education in the process of subject teaching.Based on the theory of "moral teachable theory","moral cognitive development theory" and "teacher empowerment and empowerment theory",this research uses the method of literature analysis to sort out the dimensions of moral education ability of elementary school mathematics teachers in subject teaching,and learn how to improve the moral education ability of elementary school mathematics teachers through questionnaire survey.On the basis of clarifying the background,significance and research status quo,this study clarified the research objectives,contents and methods,and attempted to seek innovation points on the basis of clarifying the key and difficult points of the research.The research believes that the moral education ability of elementary school mathematics teachers includes the following four dimensions: the design ability,the implementation ability,the evaluation ability and the innovation ability.Through the design of a questionnaire,the author made an in-depth study of the moral education ability of elementary school mathematics teachers in subject teaching,and explored the factors affecting the development of their moral education ability in the form of interviews,in order to obtain effective suggestions for improvement.These methods include: deepening mathematics teachers’ understanding of discipline ethics and discipline core literacy;Hold a symposium for mathematics teachers in universities,middle schools and elementary schools to promote ideological and political integration;Improve the teacher management system and so on.It is a long-term work to comprehensively improve the moral education ability of subject teachers.The viewpoint of this paper is only a preliminary attempt. |
