Research On The Development Path Of Volunteer Service Organizations Participating In Grassroots Social Governance In J City

The world is experiencing unprecedented changes in a century,and China is in a critical period of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Adhering to and improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,promoting the modernization of the national governance system and capacity,are major issues related to the prosperity and development of the Party and the country,the long-term stability of the country,and the happiness and well-being of the people.Grassroots governance,as the "center of gravity" and "cornerstone" of the national governance system,is the foundation and key to social governance.Social governance is more important and difficult at the grassroots level,and grassroots social governance must be placed in a prominent position.With the development of the economy and society,in the face of the increasing diversified needs of the people,building a diversified governance system and innovating forms of grassroots social governance can effectively improve the level of grassroots social governance.This process requires both government leadership and the support and participation of all sectors of society.As an important component of social organizations,volunteer service organizations have played an increasingly important role in collaborative participation in grassroots social governance in recent years,and have achieved significant results.However,facing the new era,new challenges,and new requirements,volunteer service organizations still face some difficulties and challenges in participating in the process of grassroots social governance.Therefore,this paper takes J city as the research object,uses the voluntary failure theory,collaborative governance theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,and analyzes the current development status of voluntary services in J city,and the main practices and effects of voluntary service organizations participating in grass-roots social governance through case studies.By using three research methods: literature review,questionnaire survey,and interview analysis,this study analyzed and summarized the problems and shortcomings of J city’s volunteer service organizations in participating in grassroots social governance,such as low level of socialized participation,imperfect supporting systems,non-standard management of volunteer service organizations,imbalanced urban-rural regional development,and low enthusiasm for public participation.The reasons for this lie in insufficient positive interaction between volunteer service organizations and the government,a lack of a sound security mechanism,inadequate internal management mechanisms within the organization,differences in resources between urban and rural areas,and weak awareness of public participation.On this basis,in response to the identified problems and combined with cause analysis,this article focuses on proposing countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of adhering to and strengthening the party’s leadership of the voluntary service organizations,improving the mechanism for guaranteeing voluntary services,strengthening the standardized construction of volunteer service organizations,promoting urban-rural integration development,creating an atmosphere to enhance public participation,etc.,in order to better promote the development of volunteer service organizations in J city,and make it more effective in participating in grassroots social governance.
