Community regeneration is not only a key part of urban regeneration, but also an important part of community governance. The complexity of the community regeneration process determines the diversity of its stakeholders. At the same time,co-operative governance caters to the new pattern of co-construction,co-management and sharing required in the new era.The role of co-operative governance in community regeneration has become a core topic of community governance. What are the current problems of collaborative governance in community regeneration? How do these problems arise? Is there a deeper key logic that can provide a holistic analysis of the dilemma of collaborative governance in a multi-subject context? However, there is a lack of theoretical research on the application of collaborative governance in community regeneration, most of which focuses on the importance of participation of a certain type of subject among multiple subjects and the paths and mechanisms of participation,or analyses the many influencing factors from a macro perspective. This paper is based on the theory of information asymmetry and the logic of the theory.Based on the theory of information asymmetry and the theory of cooperative governance, this paper constructs a "three-dimensional" analytical framework based on the government, the market and the society, with the ability to control information based on objective status and the preference of information selection based on subjective motivation as the dimensions. In this paper,we analyse the constraints of the three actors in the supply, transmission and reception of information in collaborative community regeneration governance, and propose targeted countermeasures.Firstly, the core concepts and basic theories are sorted out and the analytical framework is outlined.Secondly, further investigation and research is conducted from the perspective of practice.A case study of Beijing’s S community was selected, and after a field trip and interview analysis, the cooperative governance of multiple actors in S community regeneration was investigated, and the problems and achievements were considered.Again, based on the "three-dimensional" analysis framework, the reasons for the problems in community regeneration are further analysed, and the information limitations of the government, market and society in the process of collaborative governance are analysed. Finally,it proposes strategies to improve cooperative governance in community regeneration in China,so that multiple actors can form a joint effort to promote community regeneration in China.
