Research On The Modernization Of Rural Governance In The New Era

The most arduous and challenging task in the comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country lies in rural areas.The modernization of rural governance,as the cornerstone of rural revitalization,plays a pivotal role at the grassroots level.In the new era,with the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the relationship between urban and rural areas and the relationship between industry and agriculture is undergoing reconstruction,presenting both opportunities and challenges.National rejuvenation requires rural revitalization,and it is imperative to advance the process of modernizing rural governance and achieve good governance in rural areas.Based on a comprehensive understanding of the concept of modernizing rural governance,this paper analyzes the Marxist and Leninist ideas concerning the agricultural foundation theory,the theory of integrated urban-rural development,the concept of state governance,and the theory of rural grassroots party building.It reviews the theoretical development and practical exploration of rural governance by successive central leadership collectives and combines Xi Jinping’s theory on rural governance in the new era.It conducts a comprehensive analysis of the current status of modernizing rural governance,elucidates the significance and achievements of China’s construction of modern rural governance,and analyzes issues such as the incomplete institutional mechanisms and the challenges in the governance process,delving into the underlying political,economic,educational,and social factors behind these issues.After conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current status of rural governance in China,this paper proposes a path to achieve modernization of rural governance in the new era.Taking the inherent logic of "three-dimensional governance integration" as the starting point and adhering to the coordinated promotion of the "five-sphere integrated plan" it puts forward specific implementation paths in terms of party building,grassroots political power construction,rural industries,public legal services,cultural and ecological development,and governance methods.The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical references for realizing the modernization of rural governance and to offer effective paths for the practical advancement of modernizing rural governance.
