In January 2018,for the first time since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council jointly issued a document on teacher work,"Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Teacher Team Construction in the New Era",which clarifies the purpose of taking education as the foundation of the centennial plan and taking teachers as the foundation of education.It is required to place teacher work in a strategic area that is supported by the development of education,give priority to planning teacher work,and give priority to meeting the needs of teacher team construction.As a member of China’s higher education system,teachers’ colleges play an important role in cultivating preschool education teachers,making significant contributions to the development of China’s education and the balanced allocation of educational resources.With the development of China’s economy and society,the requirements for teacher training in education have gradually increased.In the process of adjusting the layout of higher education and self construction of normal universities,normal education is gradually developing towards undergraduate level,and the educational requirements of preschool education teachers are increasing from junior college to undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Teachers’ colleges and universities with college education levels are facing the challenges of the new situation,and they need to strengthen reform in both training objectives and teaching models in order to cultivate teachers’ professional graduates with higher quality,meet the requirements of education for teachers’ colleges and universities,and promote employment.Therefore,the construction of teachers’ team in teachers’ colleges is particularly important.This paper takes the teaching staff of L School,a provincial normal college newly established in 2019,as the research object,and analyzes the characteristics and problems of the teaching staff of normal colleges in the current and future periods.Through investigation and research,it is found that there is a significant imbalance in the structure of the teaching staff in teachers’ colleges,with newly opened majors lacking teaching teachers and newly recruited teachers lacking teaching experience;Due to the small size of specialized colleges,narrow space for growth,and low welfare benefits,they lack attraction for outstanding talents,making it difficult to introduce high-level teachers.Using theories such as human resources theory and various research methods,this article focuses on how to scientifically strengthen the professionalism of teacher team construction in teachers’ colleges and universities,as well as how to improve the quality of teachers in teachers’ colleges and universities.It puts forward suggestions such as continuously strengthening the teacher’s ethics and style in teachers’ colleges and universities,comprehensively improving the professional quality of teachers,and reforming and improving the management system of the teacher team. |
