Due to their distinct characteristics and unique advantages, college students have become the backbone of volunteer service for the 14 th National Games, injecting strong motivation into the competition. They are not only one of the most active groups among young people in China, but also have a broad and profound impact on society.Although college students have strong learning abilities, high levels of knowledge, strong physique, and abundant energy, their self-awareness,development needs, and willingness to flow are also relatively strong.Facing college student volunteers with diverse ideological and value orientations, only by fully safeguarding their own needs and meeting their original service intentions can they effectively stimulate their enthusiasm and subjective initiative, and maintain the vitality and motivation of sustainable development of volunteer service. Therefore,in the process of volunteer management, how to stimulate the intrinsic motivation of volunteers is a crucial core task that urgently needs to be properly addressed. Therefore, from the perspective of the Two-factor theory, this study explores how incentive health care factors affect volunteer behavior intention through the participation motivation of volunteers? What factors can affect volunteers’ volunteer behavior? What are the varying degrees of impact? And does participation motivation play a mediating role? In response to the above problems, based on the Two-factor theory and the S-O-R theory, this study constructed a mechanism model for the influence of volunteer behavior in large-scale sports events,in which incentive factors(including personal realization, reward system, work recognition and ability improvement)and health factors(including external environment and organizational management)were taken as independent variables, volunteer behavior intentions were taken as dependent variables, and participation motivation was taken as intermediary variables,Finally, the hypotheses of this study and the questionnaire design for each variable were proposed. Then, descriptive statistics, reliability and validity tests, multiple linear tests, difference tests, and mediation tests were conducted on the data using SPSS and AMOS.The research shows that: 1.Motivation factors(personal realization, reward system, work recognition, ability improvement)and health care factors(external environment, organizational management)can positively affect volunteers’ behavioral intentions.2.Incentive factors(personal realization, reward system, work recognition, ability improvement)can positively affect participation motivation, while health factors(external environment, organizational management)cannot positively affect participation motivation.3.The behavioral intention of volunteers is positively influenced by their motivation to participate. Therefore,in addition to focusing on improving their sustained volunteer behavior,we also need to deeply understand and value the motivational needs of volunteers.4.Participation motivation plays a mediating role between motivational factors and behavioral intention, but it does not play a mediating role between healthcare factors and behavioral intention. In line with the Two-factor theory, only incentive factors can stimulate volunteers’ work enthusiasm, improve their work performance and job satisfaction, while health care factors can only prevent volunteers from generating dissatisfaction and maintain their work status.Given the above research results,we have targeted optimization for the healthy development of sports events, including optimizing the reward system and appropriately utilizing negative incentives;Pay attention to incentives for improving the abilities of college students’ volunteers;Understand the motivation of volunteers to participate and meet their individual needs.
