Abstract/Summary:
Auxiliary police,as an indispensable and important force of the public security organ,is also an important part of the public security organ to balance the heavy police tasks and the tense reality of the police force.They play an important role in assisting the police to maintain social stability,crack down on illegal crimes,and assist in managing and serving the people.In recent years,the domestic situation is increasingly serious,the public security organ is faced with many challenges.How to use the auxiliary police has become an important subject.This paper studies the problem of the attrition rate of a district public security bureau,starting from the management status of auxiliary police of a district public security bureau of a city.Based on Motivation-hygiene Factors Theory,by using methods of questionnaire investigation and in-depth interviews,the author conducted a survey towards the attrition rate of a district public security bureau of auxiliary police and found that the reasons for the above problems mainly lie in two aspects.On the one hand,hygiene factors are not implemented,which makes the auxiliary police feel dissatisfied.Specific manifestations include improperly arranging the police force,poor salary and benefits,lacking of financial and logistical support,low professional status and high professional risk,and lacking systematical training programs.On the another hand,motivational factors lose efficacy,resulting in low professional identity of auxiliary police.Specific manifestations include lacking career development plans,and the existing defective assessment and promotion mechanism.Aiming at solving the attrition problem,the paper summarizes some measures combined with the practice,including forming a people-centered police pattern,developing a fair compensation and welfare system pattern,improving incentive and promotion mechanisms,strengthening training management and combining the material incentive with the spiritual incentive.The paper is helpful to improve current situation of staff loss of auxiliary police at grass-roots level and to solve auxiliary police management problems.
