During his visits to Kazakhstan and Indonesia in September and October 2013,Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the initiative of building“the Silk Road Economic Belt” and “the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road”.In March 2015,the Chinese government issued《Vision and actions on jointly building Belt and Road》,clearly stating that “The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor are closely related to the Belt and Road Initiative,and we need to further promote cooperation and achieve greater progress.” During President Xi Jinping’s first state visit to Pakistan in April 2015,the two sides agreed to form a “1+4” economic cooperation structure,with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as the lead and the Gwadar Port,transport infrastructure,energy and industrial cooperation as the focus.Today,as an important part of the Belt and Road Initiative,the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC)has become a flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative.Remarkable achievements have been made: major energy and power projects have been completed successively,transport infrastructure projects have been carried out smoothly,the gwadar Port Free Zone has been developed in an all-round way,and China-Pakistan industrial cooperation has made steady progress.Even the new crown worldwide outbreak in 2020,under the background of global economic development is obvious impact,china-pakistan economic corridor project is still "exceptional performance," construction projects to promote smooth,smooth completed project operation safety,become one of the highlights,Pakistan’s economy during the period of the outbreak has composed a new chapter of friendship and cooperation.However,the international community has some doubts about the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,and the attitude of the Pakistani people towards China is also showing a tendency of divergence.The international recognition of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is not only related to the sustainable development of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,but also to the stable and long-term development of the "Belt and Road" construction.The recognition of Pakistani students for the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.First,through the definition of the connotation of international identity,with cognition,recognition,willingness and behavior choice as the constituent elements,a theoretical analysis framework for Pakistani students’ recognition of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is constructed.Secondly,through questionnaires and interviews with H-University Pakistani international students,it analyzes the status quo of their identification with the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.The survey shows that most of the international students at H University have a high degree of awareness and recognition of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,especially for energy and transportation infrastructure projects;in terms of willingness and behavioral choices,most Pakistani students at University H have a high degree of recognition and recognition for the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.The relevant measures of H-University have a high degree of support;thirdly,the influencing factors of the recognition of Pakistani students at H University for the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are discussed from the perspectives of individuals,countries,and relations between countries.Finally,according to the lack of systematic awareness of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor among Pakistani students at H University,the lack of high recognition of livelihood projects,and the lack of effective means to improve support,it is proposed to expand cognitive channels,strengthen people’s sense of benefit,Measures such as establishing the image of China as a major country will further enhance the people-to-people bond in the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. |
