| Under the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,the BOT investment mode is the main mode of China’s investment in infrastructure projects in Pakistan.However,China has not enacted special legislation to regulate Bot investment mode,and has not formed a more perfect legal environment for Bot project implementation,and has not fully understood the BOT investment environment in Pakistan.Under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,Chinese enterprises are still faced with greater risks in investing in Bot projects in Pakistan,such as political instability in Pakistan,frequent terrorist attacks and religious extremist security incidents,and greater financial risks,the BOT concession agreement itself also has the risk,the Pakistan tax law system difference is big,the enterprise faces the Labor risk,the project construction progress has the hindrance,the environment and the social culture risk and so on.We can strengthen the construction of security mechanism against terrorism by establishing and initiating the emergency plan for political security risks,strengthening the system of Project Operation Cost Control and fund management,enhancing the understanding of the investment legal environment of Pakistan by Chinese investment enterprises,effectively transferring the risks brought about by the changes in the tax law of Pakistan,and using diversified dispute resolution mechanisms,the development of an environmental protection plan and the enhancement of environmental awareness,respect for local customs and practices,and the realization of localization of enterprises are ways to develop the cooperation between China and Pakistan to a deeper and higher level. |
