| On July 24,2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reduction of the Homework Burden and Extracurricular Training Burden of Students in the stage of Compulsory Education,referred to as “double reduction”,which aims to reduce the homework burden and extracurricular training burden of students in the stage of compulsory education,in line with the CPC’s in-depth implementation of the Marxist view of the People in the field of education.“Double reduction” is a great practice of the Party and the state to seek the well-being of the people in the new era,which serves as a major measure to systematically reduce the burden of primary and secondary schools and promote the healthy and all-round growth of students.In the meantime,it is also a vivid embodiment of the practice of applying the Marxist view of the People in China.From the perspective of the Marxist view of the People,the basic political standpoint of Marxian theory,it has both theoretical and practical significance to study the work of “double reduction” in primary and secondary schools.The current work of “double reduction” in primary and secondary schools guided by Marxist view of the People is the concrete practice of promoting the sinicization of Marxism in the field of education,enabling the Party’s scientific theory to closely combine with practice and giving full play to the guiding role of scientific theory.The “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools in the new era is a major livelihood project,and the core of the Marxist people’s view is people-oriented.Therefore,the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools is the internal requirement of the Marxist people’s view and there is inherent unity between the Marxist People’s view and the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools,giving us an in-depth understanding of the connection between them and a correct methodology for the current in-depth promotion of “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools,so as to enhance the effectiveness of “double reduction” work and promote the healthy and comprehensive development of students.Guiding the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools with the Marxist concept of the People is an essential measure to build a high-quality basic education system and a sound education ecology,an inevitable requirement to maintain social fairness and justice and promote the harmonious development of society,and a practical need to reduce the burden of the people and improve their happiness as well as an important embodiment of the Marxist view of history,values and methodology,facilitating it to realize the people’s interests.The Marxist view of the people requires to construct a high-quality basic education system that the people are satisfied with,making joint efforts of “double reduction” work education with the participation of the whole people and forming an education distribution pattern shared by the whole people.At present,there are still some problems existing in the “double reduction” work in Chinese primary and secondary schools.Therefore,schools need to attach more importance to the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools,parents ought to deepen their understanding of the implementation purpose of the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools,and extracurricular training institutions are supposed to further strengthen the implementation of the “double reduction” work in primary and secondary schools.Under the guidance of Marxist view of the people,schools should actively implement the Party’s educational policy,adhere to the correct orientation of education and parents should change the concept of education and improve the home-school joint efforts in education.In addition,extracurricular training institutions should stick to education policies,build a good education ecology,and eventually make joint efforts of“double reduction” to help primary and secondary schools effectively implement the“double reduction” policy. |
