Research On Farmers’ Spiritual Poverty From The Perspective Of Rural Revitalization Strategy

The focus of China’s "three rural" work has undergone a historic shift with the successful completion of the battle against poverty,and has entered a new stage of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.The most important task in comprehensively promoting rural revitalization is to consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation,and the existence of farmers’ spiritual poverty will not only affect the consolidation of the results of poverty alleviation,but also the risk of returning to poverty on a large scale.Therefore,in the stage of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,we must solve the problem of peasants’ spiritual poverty.It is necessary to stimulate and cultivate the peasant masses’ awareness of independently getting rid of poverty and getting rich and the endogenous motive force of rural revitalization,and eliminate the intergenerational transmission of "spiritual poverty" and "ability poverty." Only by making up for the "spiritual shortcomings" of the rural masses can we consolidate the results of poverty alleviation,reduce the risk of returning to poverty,and truly achieve stable poverty alleviation and sustainable poverty alleviation.This paper first starts from the definition of rural revitalization and farmers’ spiritual poverty,summarizes the characteristics of farmers’ spiritual poverty,analyzes the internal relationship between farmers’ spiritual poverty and rural revitalization strategy,and lays a foundation for in-depth research afterwards.Secondly,by analyzing the main manifestations of peasants’ spiritual poverty,that is,there are still phenomena such as contempt for education,backward values and low sense of identity,which are caused by the combination of material poverty,backward values,and low cultural level.Third,by analyzing the negative impact of farmers’ spiritual poverty on the rural revitalization strategy,it reflects the necessity of solving the problem of farmers’ spiritual poverty in the process of implementing the rural revitalization strategy.The spiritual poverty of peasants not only affects the exertion of individual vitality,but also affects the implementation results of the rural revitalization strategy.Spiritual poverty will have a negative impact on the main strength and development requirements of the rural revitalization strategy.Finally,according to the causes of farmers’ spiritual poverty and the negative impact on the rural revitalization strategy,a path to solve the problem of farmers’ spiritual poverty is proposed.To solve the problem of farmers’ spiritual poverty,it is necessary to achieve the main force of the rural revitalization strategy,accelerate the pace of the rural revitalization strategy,and promote the full implementation of the rural revitalization strategy by consolidating the material foundation of the peasants,improving the feasible ability of the peasants,adhering to the construction of the civilized village style,and optimizing the antipoverty policy.
