Based on the Report on the Elderly Population Data and the Development of the Elderly Services in 2020 and the Seventh National Census of Chengdu released by Chengdu Municipality,the proportion of elderly people aged 60 and over among the resident population in Chengdu is 17.98%,of which 13.62% are aged 65 and more,with an obvious aging trend.The situation of changes in the elderly population in Chengdu indicates that the absolute number of resident elderly population is large,and the degree of aging obviously shows a tendency of high age,the proportion of empty nesters,disabled or semi-disabled elderly increases,the demand for elderly service industry grows more strongly,and the establishment and development of specialized talent team for elderly service should be accelerated.Thesis presents the research idea of this paper by combing the literature related to the talent team of senior care service at home and abroad,combining the sorting out of policies and regulations,and the combing out of institutional training and industry status of the construction of the talent team of senior care service in Chengdu.We also used literature survey,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview process to conduct an indepth empirical study on the current situation of the development of the senior care service personnel team in Chengdu.Through the materials obtained by questionnaires and interviews,statistics and analysis of relevant empirical data,it is concluded that the lack of long-term planning for the establishment of the senior care talent team in Chengdu can’t meet the current demand,which severely restricts the supply level and service quality of senior care services and intensifies the contradiction between supply and demand of senior care service talents.In especially,there are issues such as gender imbalance,low quality of service personnel,shortage of professional skills and high mobility of senior care service personnel in Chengdu,which badly hinder the sustainable development of senior care service industry in Chengdu.Combining the successful experiences of professional talent team construction at home and abroad,countermeasures are proposed for the construction of talent team in Chengdu from the perspectives of government,industry and college training.Thesis has some realistic significance to upgrade the construction of the talent team of senior care service in Chengdu,and also offers some reference and reference to build a sufficient number of senior care service talent team with high degree of specialization and high quality to promote the healthy growth of senior care service in Chengdu and similar cities.
