A Study On The Dilemma Of Rural Women’s Participation In Rural Revitalisation And The Way Out

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the CPC mentioned "rural revitalization" as a strategic level,and the No.1 central document even focused on "rural revitalization" and proposed to "implement the ’women’s action’ for rural revitalization".The All-China Women’s Federation followed closely behind and decided to carry out the ’women’s action’ for rural revitalization ’,Shanxi Province formulated the 14 th Five-Year Plan for Women’s Development in Shanxi Province,all this means that women will play a significant role in the realization of rural revitalization as an important force.From the overall requirements of "rural revitalization" in five aspects,women in any one of the aspects play an irreplaceable role.For industrial prosperity,rural women as an important member to promote rural economic development,without female participation,agricultural production level and agricultural product quality can not be guaranteed,industrial prosperity is difficult to achieve.As for ecological livable,rural women are an important force in the concrete practice of ecological environment construction and environmental protection in rural areas.Without women’s participation,the systematic management of rural farmland and forest land and the ecological environment management will not be promoted,and ecological livable will be difficult to achieve.For rural civilization,rural women play a crucial role in the formation of family tradition and the construction of family spiritual civilization,which is the key factor for the harmonious development of rural families.Without female participation,rural ideological,cultural and moral construction will be absent,and rural civilization will be difficult to realize.For effective governance,only when rural women take the initiative to participate in the "governance of three rural areas" and make a great contribution in the rural political arena can they truly realize effective governance of rural areas.Without female participation,the construction of rural political civilization is not perfect,and the rights and interests of women cannot be guaranteed to a large extent.Living a rich life is the ultimate goal.As left-behind rural women,there are almost universal problems such as low employment level,low salary level,low education and culture level,inadequate social security and serious health problems.Only by ensuring the rights and interests of rural women and achieving material and spiritual prosperity can we promote the realization of rural life prosperity.This paper is based on feminist theory and participatory development theory.Through questionnaire survey and field interview on rural women’s participation in rural vitalization,the current situation and predicament of rural women’s participation in rural vitalization are analyzed by using literature review method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and the reasons are analyzed from three aspects: the insufficient measures of the government to encourage women’s participation,the absence of women’s federations’ organizational functions,and the serious constraints of rural women’s own conditions.It is proposed that the government should take the lead to improve and encourage the participation of rural women,the women’s federations should give full play to the bonding role of rural women,and improve the comprehensive quality of rural women,so as to improve the realistic environment of rural areas,awaken women’s consciousness of subjectivity,and better promote rural women’s participation in rural revitalization.
