Study On The Dilemma And Coping Strategies Of Social Organization Participating In Community Correction

In 2014,the Ministry of Justice and other departments jointly issued The Opinions on Organizing Social Forces to Participate in Community Correction,which specifically stipulated the employment and social assistance of community prisoners.The government puts more emphasis on guiding the participation of social forces in community correction,further solving the employment and education problems of community prisoners and helping them transform and embark on a normal life path.This study focuses on social organizations participating in community correction from the perspective of a member of social organization.This paper mainly adopts interviews and case studies to analyze the dilemma of the participation of social organizations in community correction.It is found that when social organizations participate in community correction,there are mainly problems such as insufficient social identity,difficulty in establishing relationships,strong administrative color,evaluation difficulty and the lack of impetus for development.By analyzed,the insufficiency of legal and policy resources and shortcomings in their operational mechanisms and personnel positioning of social organizations themselves give rise to the above-mentioned dilemma.On this basis,the paper puts forward several countermeasures:first,the legal and policy safeguards should be strengthened;Second,the publicity and education should be enhanced;Third,the service quality of social organizations are supposed to be improved;And the last but not the least,the scientific and effective evaluation system should be developed too.I believe the effectiveness of social organizations participating in community correction can be comprehensively improved from the above aspects.
