| In early 2020,the novel coronavirus swept through China,posing a serious threat to people’s health and property.In the process of epidemic prevention and control,the collection and use of personal information has made a great contribution to controlling the epidemic situation and strengthening precise epidemic prevention,but it also inevitably leads to a large number of personal information leakage incidents,which seriously damages citizens’ rights and interests of personal information.The occurrence of personal information leakage also reflects the existing problems in the protection of personal information in epidemic prevention and control in the systematic protection of personal information related to the epidemic,in the conflict between the rights and interests of personal information and the public’s right to know in epidemic prevention,and in the supervision of the various links of personal information collection and use.This article aims at protecting personal information in epidemic prevention and control,and puts forward some suggestions on the problems in epidemic prevention and control.In terms of systematizing legislation on pestilence-related information,it is necessary to strengthen the coherence of legislation,clarify the handling norms of pestilence-related personal information after the epidemic,and provide legislative guarantee for pestilence-related personal information.In order to balance public and individual interests in epidemic prevention,the collection of personal information must strictly follow the principles of purpose,proportionality and informed consent.In terms of standardizing the handling of pestilence-related information,it is necessary to strengthen the security awareness of information collection and processing personnel,but also to strengthen the regulation and sharing of personal information.We will take measures from various angles to protect citizens’ rights and interests in personal information,maintain social harmony and stability,and promote the development of the rule of law. |
