The Anti-poverty Theory Of Marx And Engels And Its Contemporary Value

Although the practical effectiveness of Marx Engels’ anti-poverty theory in China has been presented by history and reality,how to make a scientific theoretical interpretation of it and enhance the world influence of Marx Engels’ anti-poverty theory has become a major theoretical issue at present.Under the background of the new crown epidemic,the world poverty reduction work has encountered new challenges.In view of this,it is necessary to further study and interpret Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory and its contemporary value,so as to provide more powerful and correct theoretical guidance for solving the division between the rich and the poor,getting rid of poverty and achieving common prosperity.The research line of this thesis is "the historical background and social foundation of the theory-the formation and development of the theory-the main exploration from theory to practice-the contemporary value of the theory".The main part of the thesis discusses the following issues: First,the formation of Marx Engels’ anti-poverty theory has its specific historical background and social foundation,and Marx Engels’ theories on anti-poverty are scattered in the writings and texts of different periods,based on which the main contents of Marx Engels’ anti-poverty theory are sorted out and analyzed;second,there are different views on the issue of poverty in history,and the focus of the discussion on anti-poverty theory in different periods and countries,In the course of the practice of anti-poverty in Soviet Russia and the practice of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory in China,they both put forward many new assertions in line with the actual situation,which enriched the core content of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory in theory and practiced the value of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory in practice.Third,poverty has no national boundaries,and poverty is not unique to developing countries;poverty is a major challenge to global development.After discussing the specific practical development of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory,we try to examine the contemporary value of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory from two perspectives: the current situation of proletarian poverty in contemporary developed capitalist countries and the current situation of relative poverty governance in China.After completing the above-mentioned issues,we further examine and grasp the contemporary value of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory at both theoretical and practical levels.In terms of theoretical value,understanding the core connotation of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory can help deepen our correct understanding of the poverty problem,and the continuous innovative theoretical achievements can continue to provide theoretical support for the development of the cause of poverty reduction in the world,thus driving the development of practice and solving the problem of poverty in a more adequate and balanced way.In terms of practical value,Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory still shines with the light of truth in the present era,and the scientific truth it contains is a powerful force to promote the development of the cause of poverty reduction in the world.We should unswervingly adhere to the basic positions,views and methods of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory to guide our anti-poverty practice,and further manifest the contemporary value of Marx and Engels’ anti-poverty theory.
