A Study Of Sichuan Image Construction Of “Sichuan Observation” Douyin Account

The transformation of any era may bring changes and updates to the national,local and city images,and the simplest way to capture this image change is to pay attention to the mass media.In the era of mobile internet,social transformation and media transformation are going hand in hand,and the role of new media platforms in spreading and constructing local images has become irreplaceable.Various images widely presented on new media platforms are one of the important factors that affect people’s formation of local imagination."Sichuan Observation" Douyin Account is a new media product created by Sichuan Radio and Television Station.Under the guidance of the concept of "based on Sichuan and observing the world",it has undertaken the important task of building the image of Sichuan.This study is based on the analysis of frame theory.On the one hand,it affirms the significance of reporting frame to image construction,on the other hand,it does not ignore the positive role of new media film and television art means to image construction.Based on the above understanding,the main research question raised in this study is what kind of image of Sichuan has been presented by "Sichuan Observation" Douyin Account,and how?Focusing on this core research issue,this study starts with history,combs the media ways of Sichuan image presentation in different historical periods,and reflects on the current path of Sichuan image construction.Secondly,starting from the three-level framework theory put forward by Zang Guoren,this paper analyzes the universal characteristics of the target sample from macro,meso and micro dimensions.Finally,summarize the specific image of Sichuan presented by "Sichuan Observation" Douyin Account.It is found that "Sichuan Observation" Douyin Account,as a successful case of local mainstream media integration and transformation,embodies the integration and innovation of Douyin,the mainstream media in the new media environment,in terms of content production characteristics,communication strategies and media positioning."Sichuan Observation" has constructed five images at the micro level,namely,Bashi Sichuan image,healthy Sichuan image,safe Sichuan image,happy Chengdu image and beautiful Sichuan image,by setting topics,focusing on angles and selecting subjects at the macro level,relying on the interactive narrative mode of various image forms at the middle level,taking into account the event selection of public opinion guidance and users’ needs,and the reporting and dissemination mode of users’ participation in content production.
