Research On Social Governance Of Ningxia Prefecture-level City

At present,the world is entering a new period of turbulence and transformation,characterized by the combination of century-old changes and century-long epidemics.The imbalance and inadequacy of development between urban and rural areas are evident,and various factors of instability and uncertainty are significantly increasing,the ability of social governance needs to be improved.As the key level connecting the upper and the lower in the national governance system,city territory is a highly concentrated and important place for resolving major contradictions and risks.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has a far-sighted vision and plans for the layout of urban social governance,which is based on the practice of local social governance.This is both a new task and a systems engineering one.As a small province in the west of China,Ningxia is characterized by its small area,small population,underdeveloped economy and short governance radius,new forms of business and new areas of prominent contradictions continue to emerge.Based on the above background,Ningxia earnestly implements the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee,actively and deeply explores on the basis of the original social governance,and constantly promotes the level of modernization of urban social governance.This study focused on Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,with extensive access to data,questionnaires,and in-depth grass-roots surveys,facing the problems such as the overlapping of the risks of social contradictions,the inadequate governance of the major sources of risks,the lack of social synergy,the low awareness and participation rate of the masses,and the insufficient function of the grass-roots units,in-depth analysis of the causes of the problem,it puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,such as perfecting the system and mechanism of social governance,preventing and resolving the risks of major contradictions in the city,innovating the carrier of "Good Governance",and tamping the base of social governance,in order to contribute to the city of social governance modernization of Ningxia samples,provide reference.
