Research On Legal Problems Of Guangdong-Hong Kong Law Firm

With the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area,interregional capital is becoming more and more active,stimulating the rapid development of legal trade services.Therefore,China has also gradually accelerated the flow of legal services between Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,encouraged domestic law firms and lawyers to conduct business exchanges and cooperation in Hong Kong and Macao,and then worked hard for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area to build a world-class Bay area.To achieve the common prosperity of the three economies.In this context,the legal services of Guangdong and Hong Kong have experienced the establishment of agency offices to the agreement type joint venture,and then to the present partnership type joint venture,we can see that both places are actively exploring ways to upgrade the legal services of the two places.However,we should also see that there are still many conditions for the establishment of partnership,the threshold is high,the cooperation between law firms can not be adjusted flexibly according to the demand of law service market,and there is a lack of professional ties;Hong Kong and Macao law firms and lawyers in the mainland are also restricted.At present,the desire of Hong Kong and Macao law firms and lawyers to go to the mainland to engage in the legal profession is not strong,the number and scale of partnership offices are far from expected,the cooperation between the three law firms is relatively loose,mostly to transfer case information,supporting the "one way" development function is not obvious,Hong Kong and Macao residents living and working in the mainland personalized lawyer service needs are not well met,far from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area "Planning outline" requirements.To this end,this paper from the government,social and legal three aspects of the proposal,the two governments to strengthen legal exchanges and cooperation,improve the relevant laws and regulations on the qualification certification procedures of lawyers,further expand the scope of Hong Kong lawyers handling cases in the mainland,for law firms to try different business models to provide legal support,reasonable determination of a unified lawyer billing method,the establishment of a unified supervision and management agencies.
