Research On Pan Zinian’s Propaganda Work During The New Democratic Revolution

Propaganda work has played an important role in the party’s century-old course.In recent years,the Party Central Committee has placed greater emphasis on politicians running newspapers,emphasizing that the Party controls propaganda,the Party controls ideology,and the Party controls the media.Xinhua Daily(1938-1947)was an organ newspaper run by the Communist Party of China in the Kuomintang-ruled areas,and as the head of this party newspaper,Pan Zinian practiced the party’s propaganda ideology in this special battlefield,disseminated the party’s line,principles,and policies,and made contributions to the party’s political mobilization.Pan Zinian engaged in the party’s propaganda work and became an excellent propaganda worker,both from the ideological theory and social practice that he came into contact with in the process of growing up,including receiving good family education and the influence of Marxist-Leninist theory,and participating in the leadership work of the "General Manager of Literature";It was also subject to the complicated situation on the propaganda front during the period of the new-democratic revolution.After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,the Kuomintang and the Communist Party reached a second cooperation,nominally belonging to the united front,but in fact the rivalry relationship,and the two sides launched a propaganda war in the Kuomintang-ruled areas to compete for the right to speak in public opinion.Before becoming the director of Xinhua Daily,Pan Zinian underwent a severe test in the Kuomintang prison.This self-taught man has translated and published many works on revolutionary theory,published many articles propagating the revolution,and made unremitting efforts for the propaganda cause of the Communist Party of China.Pan Zinian has been fighting on the propaganda front for more than 20 years and has formed a unique propaganda concept.He advocated that propaganda work should be carried out around the party’s central work;attach importance to exchanges and interactions with reader groups;advocate the enterprise management of party newspapers;pay attention to the tactics and skills of propaganda work,and dare to struggle and be good at struggle.With his own efforts in the social context of the period of the new-democratic revolution,Pan Zinian played a role in the dissemination of Marxism,the propaganda of the Communist Party of China’s anti-Japanese stand,and the development of the party’s propaganda cause.In the era of mobile Internet,the rapid spread of self-media has made the party media and official media face huge challenges,how to make the party’s propaganda into the mind,how to occupy the ideological highland,at this time,the study of Pan Zinian,an old veteran soldier of the propaganda front,is not without enlightenment significance.
