Research On The Demand And Influencing Factors Of Home-based Community Elderly Care Service

The results of the seventh population census show that in 2020,the population aged65 and above in China is nearly 191 million,accounting for 13.50% of the total population,and the dependency ratio is 19.7%,an increase of 7.8 percentage points compared with2010.It can be seen that the elderly population base is large,the growth rate is fast,and the aging problem is increasingly serious.Pension problems about national economy and people’s livelihood,at present,as the change of family structure,rising aging population bring-up ratio,pension pressure makes many families overwhelmed,old-age support from family is very limited,the traditional family endowment unsustainable model,at the same time institutions endowment due to many factors such as economy,society and culture is difficult to receive the recognition of the elderly.The home-based community pension model relies on the community platform,allowing the elderly to enjoy professional pension services in a familiar environment.It is an effective integration of the two,has unique advantages,makes up for the lack of functions of the two,and becomes an important pension way to effectively deal with the pension problem and ensure the elderly’s life in their later years.Since 2016,the central government has supported the pilot reform of home-based and community-based elderly care services,and relevant policies and regulations have been constantly improved.Initial progress has been made,but problems such as lack of supply and dislocation still exist,making it difficult to fully meet the needs of the elderly.Therefore,research on the needs of the elderly should be strengthened,and demand-oriented precise and effective supply should be carried out.Based on 2018 Chinese elderly health factors affecting tracking(CLHLS)data,first of all,the current situation of the community endowment service demand that occupy the home of our country were analyzed,and the overall analysis respectively,the comparison and analysis of supply and demand,time,comparison and analysis,comparative analysis of the regional differences found that elderly people in the community endowment service generally has strong demand that occupy the home,However,there is a serious contradiction between supply and demand,and there are differences between eastern and western regions and between urban and rural areas.Secondly,a MIMIC structural equation model was constructed to explore the factors influencing the demand for home-based community elderly care service from three aspects of physiological characteristics,economic characteristics and social characteristics.The results show that physiological characteristics,economic characteristics,social characteristics,differences between eastern and western regions and differences between urban and rural areas have a significant impact on the elderly’s needs for home-based community care services.Finally,suggestions are put forward based on the empirical analysis results: Perfect home community endowment service content,expand the community endowment service supply,promote the regional coordinated development of community endowment service that occupy the home,enhance the level of pension service guarantee and strengthening to support multiple body,so as to promote the healthy development of the community endowment services that occupy the home,improve the old-age service system,to better meet the needs of the elderly.
