In recent years,China’s volunteer service team is growing,voluntary service organizations are growing rapidly,the scale of voluntary service is expanding rapidly,and the field of voluntary service is constantly expanding,which has become an important force to promote social harmony and civilization progress.Practice proves that the volunteer service plays an important role to the development of society,it is not only committed to mobilize social resources,form a good social atmosphere and interpersonal relationship,and improve the social security mechanism and effectively make up for the inadequacy of government and market services,and promote fairness and justice,maintain social stability are playing an increasingly important role.This paper takes voluntary service in Huaiyin District as the research content to explore how voluntary service can play a positive role in building a harmonious socialist society under the background of social and economic development in the new era.How to create a healthier volunteering environment;How to deal with the relationship between the government,voluntary service organizations and the needs of the people.The volunteer service development present situation of research and analysis,points out that in Huaiyin District volunteer service problems and causes in the process of development,and the development of volunteer service ideas and recommendations to basic way,namely through the establishment of volunteer services to promote long-term development mechanism,perfect the volunteer service organization internal management mechanism,cultivate civic volunteerism,etc.,Relying on a series of scientific and effective measures to ensure the smooth realization of the development goal of local voluntary service.
