Research On Henan Women’s Liberation In The Early Days Of The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China(1949-1956)

Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,women in Henan was very low.In terms of marriage and family,they are oppressed by her husband and mother-in-law,and have no equal political right to participate in the deliberation and administration of politics.Few women go out of their homes to participate in social labor,their educational level is generally low,and the problem of prostitutes is serious.Therefore,after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the state introduced a series of policies,laws and regulations to change women’s tragic experience of women,improve women’s family and social status.However,women’s work should not only stay at the legal level,it also needs to be implemented into real life.Therefore,the state has carried out a vigorous "Marriage Law" propaganda movement,prohibit prostitution movement,literacy movement,develop maternal and child health undertakings and encourage women to participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs and participate in labor,etc.,so that the policies of women’s liberation work take root.The state publicizes the Marriage Law through various forms,bans the prostitution system and transforms prostitutes to help prostitutes live a dignified life,improves women’s cultural level through ideological education and cultural education,and makes women fully speak out by encouraging women to participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs.Through the development of women and child health undertakings and childcare work to improve the health level of women and infants,by encouraging women out of the house to participate in labor,improve women’s economic income,so as to achieve the goal of liberating women.Under the leadership of Henan Provincial Party Committee,provincial government and provincial democratic Women’s Federation,women’s liberation work has achieved certain results.The achievement of the work cannot be separated from these three experiences: First,the women’s liberation work in Henan closely carries out around the central work and serves the central work.Second,adhere to and constantly strengthen the Party’s leadership over women’s work.During this period,women’s work was carried out under the leadership of the Party.Due to the correct leadership of the Party,women improved production efficiency and economic income;in thought,awareness and liberation.Third,attach importance to publicity and education work and practical effect.Women’s federations at all levels go deep into factories,mines,workshops,streets,rural areas and families,and can create a world,blackboard newspapers,slides,drama,rap,symposiums,publicity sheds,exhibitions,group meetings,family meetings and representative meetings.These experiences and results are of great enlightenment significance for the further development and promotion of women’s work in the new era.
