Research On The Party’s Promotion Of The Liberation Of Jiangsu Women’s Marriage And Family In The Early Days Of The Founding Of New China

In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,there was a lot of waste waiting to be revived.In order to restore and rebuild social order,the CPC is committed to all-round social construction.China has always been a major agricultural country,with farmers accounting for the majority of the total population and rural women,who make up more than half of the total population in rural areas,naturally becoming the backbone that cannot be ignored.In the long feudal society influenced by traditional patriarchal ideas such as"male superiority and female inferiority",women were heavily oppressed,and the feudal marriage and family system still existed in rural areas,seriously affecting the improvement and enhancement of the status of rural women in marriage and family.In order to bring rural women into the camp of the socialist revolution,the CPC vigorously promoted the liberation process of rural women in marriage and family at that time by carrying out various social reforms,promulgating marriage laws and other effective measures.This paper adheres to historical materialism as the staring point,comprehensively uses literature research method,historical theory combination method,and case analysis method,taking Jiangsu Province as an example,to study the practice of the Party in promoting the liberation of rural women’s marriage and family in the early days of the founding of New China.On the basis of completing the introduction,the paper is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part is the introduction.Introduced the research background and significance of rural women’s marriage liberation in the early days of the founding of New China,explored the research trends at home and abroad,and clarified the research ideas,methods,and innovations.The second part traces the theoretical and practical origins of the Party’s promotion of the liberation of rural women’s marriage and family.It includes the marriage and family thought of Marxist classic writers and the marriage and family thought of CPC.Summarized the practical experience of the Party in promoting the liberation of rural women’s marriage and family during the local governance period,including the practice of marriage and family reform during the Central Soviet Area and the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region.The third part analyzes the historical background of rural women’s marriage and family liberation in the early days of the founding of New China.Elaborated on the feudal marriage and family system and the constraints of old ideas on rural women,and why it is necessary to promote the liberation of rural women’s marriage and family.The fourth part elaborates on the practical activities of the Party in promoting the liberation of marriage and family among rural women in Jiangsu during the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.The social reforms carried out include land reform,literacy movement,and the abolition of prostitution movement.The promotion and implementation of the Marriage Law are carried out in sync with these social reforms.This part systematically explains how Jiangsu carries out these social movements and promotes the implementation of the Marriage Law.The fifth part is the effectiveness and practical inspiration of the Party’s promotion of the liberation of marriage and family among rural women in Jiangsu during the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,which has a positive impact on guiding women to establish a correct view of marriage and handling marriage and family relationships in today’s society.
