In The Early Days Of The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China, The Shanghai Women's Federation Participated In The Study Of Social Governance (1949-1957)

China's Women's Federation is a bridge and link between the party and the female masses,which is one of the important pillars of the State power.The early days of the founding of Shanghai,there are a series of serious social problems need to be governed,such as prostitutes,dancers,all kinds of brothels still exist a large number of rogue,bandits,counter-revolutionary elements rampant,women's employment difficulties,and so on.These problems have seriously hindered the development of society.At the same time,many women's groups were established and played an important role in social governance,in particular,after the establishment of the Shanghai Democratic Women's Union,under the leadership of the party and the government led the broad masses of women in Shanghai to participate in various construction undertakings,in all areas of social governance plays an irreplaceable role,can be said to be the top of "half the sky."
