Study On Rural Women’s Participation In Rural Revitalization Strategy In Dayangshu Town,Hulunbuir City

With the implementation of rural revitalization strategy proposed in the report of the 19 th National Congress,China’s rural development strategy has transformed from building beautiful villages to rural revitalization.At present,a large number of rural male laborers work in cities,and rural women gradually become the labor force of the agricultural production.The traditional production mode has changed from "men plowing and women weaving" to "men working and women farming",and rural women have essentially become the main body of farmers.In the process of rural revitalization,rural women,as the main body of farmers,are indispensable to participate in the political,economic and cultural aspects,and they are the main force in rural construction and will play a pivotal role in the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.This study uses questionnaires combined with field interviews to understand rural women and village cadres in three villages,namely Xinhua Village,Sipingshan Village and Fuyao Village in Dayangshu Town in Hulunbuir City.It presents data from the basic situation of rural women in terms of age,education level,marriage and residence mode,women’s knowledge of rural revitalization strategy,and women’s political participation,economic participation and cultural participation in rural revitalization.After analyzing the data,this study revealed that rural women in Dayangshu Town had insufficient driving force,weak awareness of participation,limited action power and lack of their own ability in participating in rural revitalization.Through further analysis,this study found that women in the village are bound by the traditional cultural concept of "men dominate outside and women dominate inside" and influenced by the gender order of "men are strong and women are weak".In addition,rural women have backward ideology,low education level,little production and life skills,lack of information and financial support in production and management,and few opportunities for training.And therefore,rural women in Dayangshu Town have not been able to participate well in the rural revitalization.According to the real situation of rural areas in Dayangshu Town,the following countermeasures are proposed to promote rural women to participate the rural revitalization: firstly,to promote the development of women in terms of self-awareness,social status and level of autonomy to break the traditional gender order;secondly,to improve the legal guarantee for the implementation of rural women’s political participation and to improve the operational guarantee mechanism for rural women’s political participation and other institutional construction to guarantee rural women’s political participation;thirdly,to promote rural women’s economic participation by strengthening training and education to improve rural women’s production and life skills;and fourth,to promote rural women’s cultural participation by correctly promoting rural women’s image and creating a good culture by establishing women’s mutual help groups.
