With the development of economy and the transformation of society,the situation of social security in our country is increasingly complicated.In order to alleviate the serious shortage of police force in our country and innovate the mode of social governance,the number of auxiliary police in our country has increased rapidly.With the continuous expansion of auxiliary police,the problems such as low protection and treatment and job burnout of auxiliary police are gradually emerging.At present,the researches on auxiliary police mainly focus on management system and team building,but few researches on psychological aspect.To explore the problems of job burnout,social support and self-efficacy of auxiliary police is of theoretical and practical significance to improve their working efficiency and mental health,and strengthen the team building and management.Objective:To study the relationship between job burnout and social support and self-efficacy of auxiliary police,and the mediating effect of self-efficacy on social support and job burnout of auxiliary police.Methods:Using a random sample of 485 auxiliary police in the Nanhai area of Foshan,the relationship between job burnout,social support and self-efficacy and the mediation of self-efficacy were investigated with occupational burnout scale,social support scale and general self-efficacy scale.Results:(1)Job burnout is negatively correlated with social support(r=-0.208,P<0.01).The higher the level of social support,the lower the level of job burnout.(2)Job burnout is negatively correlated with self-efficacy(r=-0.252,P<0.01).The higher the level of self-efficacy,the lower the level of job burnout.(3)Social support is positively correlated with self-efficacy(r=0.195,P<0.01).The higher the level of social support,the higher the level of self-efficacy.(4)Self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between social support and job burnout of auxiliary police(β=-0.165,P<0.001).Conclusion:Social support and self-efficacy of auxiliary police in the Nanhai area of Foshan have a certain predictive effect on their job burnout.Self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between social support and job burnout of auxiliary police.
