Police Job Burnout And Its Related Factors

Burnout is the existence of a universal social phenomenon,the study of burnout psychology more and more attention.Domestic research on the subject of burnout in teachers and nurses more than mainly focused on sources of stress,social support and the relationship between job burnout;Most of the studies of the police occupational stress and mental health problems,social support and quality of life of the police,as well as issues such as personality characteristics of the research on job burnout police involved in the study is also very little.In view of the phenomenon of police burnout is becoming more prominent groups, individual work of the police's life growing problem,This study was to explore the status of the police job burnout,and factors associated with work load,social support, personality characteristics,the relationship between self-efficacy,And explore the work load,social support,personality,self-efficacy of the prediction of the role of job burnout,and the regulation of self-efficacy variables for the regulation of police burnout effect.The purpose of this study was to test police conducted a questionnaire survey,by correlation analysis,variance analysis and multiple regression methods such as statistical analysis of data,the following conclusions:(1) The level of the police's job burnout is high,and that of emotional exhaustion is higher than depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment.(2) The police different attributes of the dimensions of burnout in the workplace, there was a significant difference on the situation:â‘ The level of emotional exhaustion police in terms of gender,age,and education aspects of police,there was a significant difference.â‘¡To the level of human nature in terms of age,and education aspects of police,there was a significant difference.â‘¢To reduce the level of personal accomplishment and level of education in the police there are significant differences.(3) The workload of the police are significantly the positive correlated with depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment.The workload can forecast depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment.(4) Social support,subjective support and job burnout and its dimensions have a significant negative correlation;support the use of degrees and two dimensions of job burnout and emotional exhaustion,reduced personal accomplishment of a significant negative correlation.Subjective support and support utilization can negatively forecast emotional exhaustion,reduced personal accomplishment;subjective support can negatively forecast depersonalization.(5) The spirit of quality,neuroticism and job burnout and its dimensions have a significant positive correlation;and outside work to the dimensions of burnout and its significant negative correlation.Intraversion-extraversion can negatively predict emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment; neuroticism can positively predict emotional exhaustion;Psychoticism can positively predict emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.(6) Self-efficacy and job burnout has a significant negative correlation. Self-efficacy can negatively forecast reduced personal accomplishment.(7) Self-efficacy has certain adjustment effect to the police's job burnout:â‘ Self-efficacy played a conditioning effect in the process of the workload affecting reduced personal accomplishment;â‘¡Self-efficacy played a conditioning effect in the process of the subjective support affecting reduced personal accomplishment;â‘¢Self-efficacy played a conditioning effect in the process of psychoticism and intraversion-extraversion affecting emotional exhaustion, depersonalization;Self-efficacy played a conditioning effect in the process of neuroticism affecting emotional exhaustion.
