| Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,great importance has been attached to the inheritance and protection of cultural heritage,and it has been repeatedly emphasized that cultural heritage is an important carrier of China’s excellent traditional culture.It is necessary to protect,inherit,and utilize it well,and explore its rich connotation,in order to better strengthen cultural confidence,condense national spirit,promote cultural prosperity and development,and contribute to the construction of a socialist cultural power.In the past decade of the development of the new era,cultural heritage resources have gradually been identified,and "non cultural heritage fever" and "archaeological fever" have become new trends.Cultural heritage "living up" is in the ascendant.In this era,how to further improve China’s ability to transform and develop cultural heritage resources has become a hot and difficult topic in current research.As the birthplace of cultural heritage personnel training,the quality of cultural heritage personnel in China is determined to a large extent by the training mode of universities.Although many universities across China have established cultural heritage majors at the master’s level and have accumulated rich experience in the cultivation of talents,there is still a big gap between the goal of cultivating first-class cultural heritage talents and the demand of society in terms of quality and quantity.Therefore,it is particularly important to evaluate the quality of the current cultural heritage master’s degree training in universities and analyze the problems to promote the improvement of the level of talent training in China.In view of this,this article starts from talent cultivation,taking graduate students of cultural heritage in universities as the starting point,and explores the quality of talent cultivation for graduate students of cultural heritage in China’s universities through four evaluation perspectives: background evaluation,input evaluation,process evaluation,and result evaluation,based on the technical route of problem posing,current situation research,and empirical analysis.Based on basic theories such as stakeholder theory,economic production factor theory,seven elements of teaching activities,and professional competence theory,this paper conducts in-depth research on the cultivation quality of graduate students of cultural heritage in universities from the current situation and problems of their cultivation,and creatively constructs an evaluation index system for the quality of talent cultivation of graduate students of cultural heritage.On this basis,it conducts a relevant empirical analysis of Wuhan University.Therefore,this article mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)Analysis of the current situation and problems in the cultivation of talents for master’s degrees in cultural heritage in colleges and universities.Although cultural heritage education in China’s colleges and universities started late,with the training of professional talents only opened in 2005,with the active exploration of the teaching and training mode in major universities and the strong support from the government,the level of talent cultivation has shown a good development trend.Nevertheless,this paper analyzes the current situation of cultural heritage master’s degree personnel training in China from four levels: the distribution of university majors,the level of institutions,the geographical distribution of universities,and the types of personnel training,and concludes that there are still problems in China’s cultural heritage education,such as insufficient development of regional resources,imperfect disciplinary system,lack of unified standards for personnel training mode,and mismatch between personnel training and industry demand.This has led to a dilemma of unclear employment orientation,low social recognition,and regional imbalance in the supply of cultural heritage masters trained.In addition,the analysis of these problems also provides a theoretical basis for the construction of subsequent evaluation indicators in this paper.(2)Construction of the evaluation index system for the quality of talent cultivation for master’s degree in cultural heritage in universities.In view of the current lack of relevant research on the construction of talent cultivation quality evaluation index system for master’s degree candidates in cultural heritage,this article starts from the existing talent cultivation quality evaluation index system and concludes through analysis that talent cultivation quality evaluation should not only be limited to the evaluation of training results,but also take into account its background evaluation and process input evaluation.In addition,the selection of evaluation indicators needs to take into account not only the internal indicators of talents themselves,but also external indicators such as universities,society,and government.Based on this,this article first introduces the CIPP evaluation model to comprehensively evaluate the quality of talent cultivation for master’s degree candidates in cultural heritage from four dimensions: background evaluation,input evaluation,process evaluation,and result evaluation.Then,under each dimension,11 secondary evaluation indicators are constructed based on stakeholder theory,economic production factor theory,seven elements of teaching activities,and professional competence theory,respectively,On this basis,through the analysis,screening,and adjustment of existing research theories and evaluation indicators,24three-level evaluation indicators were finally determined,thereby completing the construction of the entire evaluation indicator system.(3)Empirical study.This paper firstly selects Wuhan University,a representative cultural heritage master’s degree talent training institution in China,as the object of empirical research,and then conducts a comprehensive evaluation of Wuhan University’s cultural heritage master’s talent training level in the period of 2017-2021 based on the constructed evaluation index system of cultural heritage master’s talent training in colleges and universities and the relevant research data of corresponding indexes.Finally,based on the analysis of the results of the evaluation of the quality of cultural heritage master’s talent cultivation in Wuhan University,we attempt to uncover the factors and causes that restrict the high-quality development of cultural heritage master’s talent cultivation in Chinese universities,explore the existing problems and give specific countermeasures and suggestions,so as to improve the quality of cultural heritage master’s talent cultivation in Chinese universities as a whole. |
