Music teaching evaluation is an important part of music teaching activities,which plays an important role in regulating and guiding every link of teaching activities.Music teaching in junior high school is a key stage to cultivate students’ core ability in music,guide students to maintain a strong interest in music learning and develop a positive and optimistic attitude.Therefore,this also put forward new requirements and thinking for junior high school music teaching evaluation.The effective development of music teaching evaluation activities in junior middle school can not only improve the practical ability of music teachers in education and teaching,enhance the comprehensive quality and ability of students in music,and provide services for the all-round development of students,but also provide references for the improvement of the quality of music teaching and the perfection of subject curriculum construction.CIPP evaluation model,proposed by American scholar Stufflebeam,CIPP is named after the abbreviation of the four stages.They are Context-evaluation,Input-evaluation,process-evaluation and Product-evaluation,which are the evaluation modes throughout the Process of teaching activities.Based on the connotation of CIPP evaluation model and the characteristics of junior high school music teaching,this study analyzed the appropriateness of CIPP evaluation model and junior high school music teaching evaluation,and found that CIPP evaluation model attaches great importance to process evaluation,which is more suitable for junior high school music teaching evaluation activities with the characteristics of practical,experiential,creative and other subjects.CIPP also has the characteristics of development and decision making,which plays an important role in the improvement of teaching quality and music literacy of students.Secondly,taking Y Middle School in Suzhou as the research object,this paper investigates and analyzes the existing problems in the evaluation of junior middle school music teaching.The research found that the main problems are:the content of teaching evaluation is not comprehensive enough to meet the cultivation of students’comprehensive music literacy ability;The evaluation method adopted by the evaluation subject is too simple;Teaching evaluation is seriously divorced from music teaching activities and other problems.On the basis of relevant theoretical and practical research,the author puts forward the following strategies for implementing CIPP evaluation model in junior high school music teaching evaluation:to carry out junior high school music teaching evaluation with multiple evaluation views;Scientific organization of evaluation process to promote the consistency of music teaching,learning and evaluation;Strengthen the use of evaluation feedback information and give full play to evaluation guidance;Based on CIPP evaluation model,a reasonable evaluation index system for music teaching is established.
