With the continuous development of society, employment pressure has become a problem faced by many people.Employment pressure not only has a negative impact on individuals’ mental health, but also affects their job search behavior and employment status.Psychological resilience is an important personal quality that can buffer the adverse effects of employment pressure, and individuals with higher levels of psychological resilience tend to exhibit better job search behavior. This study is divided into two parts: Study 1 and Study 2.In Study 1,we conducted a questionnaire survey on employment pressure, psychological resilience, and job search behavior among 378 college graduates, and constructed a mediation model to study the relationship among them.In Study 2,we designed a group psychological counseling program aimed at improving the psychological resilience of college graduates and enhancing their job search behavior, enriching the school’s intervention research. The research results are as follows:(1)College graduates generally exhibit a slightly above-average level of job pressure, while their level of psychological resilience and job search behavior is slightly below average.(2)There are significant differences in the current situation of job pressure, psychological resilience, and job search behavior among college graduates with or without work experience, experience as a student union cadre, the type of college they graduated from, their grade level, and their hometown.(3)There is a significant correlation among job stress, psychological resilience, and job-seeking behavior among college graduates.Specifically, job stress is significantly negatively correlated with job-seeking behavior and psychological resilience, while psychological resilience is significantly positively correlated with job-seeking behavior.Furthermore, the job-seeking behavior of the high job stress and high psychological resilience group is significantly higher than that of the high job stress and low psychological resilience group.(4)Psychological resilience of college graduates has a fully mediating effect between job pressure and job search behavior.(5)Group psychological counseling can effectively improve the psychological resilience of college graduates, thereby enhancing their job search behavior.
