The Collation And Research Of Kangxi’s XiongSheng

Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" is the first chronicle of Xiongxian County in the Qing Dynasty,covering all aspects of politics,economy,culture,society,and other aspects of Xiongxian County.However,due to its poor preservation,a large number of chapters may have been lost.Currently,the academic research on Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" is relatively weak,and its value still needs to be explored.This article takes Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" as the research object,using literature research methods and comparative analysis methods,Conduct a comprehensive and systematic collation and study of this local chronicle.The first chapter of this article is an introduction,briefly explaining the reason for selecting the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,namely,mining historical data and local culture of Xiong’an County to better serve the construction of Xiong’an New Area,and elaborating the current research status of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng",mainly focusing on compilation,bibliography or content summary,citation monographs,or occasional mention in a few papers,so there is a large research space.The second chapter mainly introduces the historical evolution of Xiongxian County,and lists all the local chronicles currently available for examination in Xiongxian County,with a brief explanation of their compilers,compilation process,and compilation purpose,in order to comprehensively understand and grasp the unique position of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" in the history of Xiongxian County chronicles.The third chapter is the compilation and examination of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng",which mainly explores from the aspects of the compiler,the background of the compilation,the compilation process,and the preservation situation,and summarizes its compilation thoughts.The fourth chapter describes the style and content of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" in detail,and summarizes the material sources of the chronicle.On this basis,using comparative analysis,it vertically compares this chronicle with Jiajing’s "Xiong Sheng" and Wanli’s "Xiong Sheng",and specifically analyzes the similarities and differences in the style and content of the three,highlighting the characteristics of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng" based on inheriting the previous chronicles and introducing new ones.The fifth chapter summarizes the stylistic and content characteristics of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng",and makes a specific analysis of the format and content of the notes in the chronicle.The sixth chapter discusses the literature value,historical data value,and practical functions of Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng",and points out the problems found in the collation of "Xiong Sheng",including errors,derivations,and missing characters.Although there are some shortcomings in Kangxi’s "Xiong Sheng",there are no hidden flaws.Through in-depth exploration of the content and style of the Kangxi Annals,we can better explore its inherent deep value.On the one hand,the Kangxi Annals preserve a wealth of historical documents,which not only served as a source of information for later chronicles,but also provided useful references for later generations in identifying similarities and differences,correcting errors,and preventing and supplementing cultural relics.On the other hand,the collation and study of the Kangxi Annals,to a certain extent,also provides a literature reference for exploring the local culture of Xiongxian County.
