The Chinese Language Proficiency Test is an international Chinese language proficiency test specifically designed for non native speakers of Chinese,which is abbreviated as HSK.Unlike the "separation of examination and teaching" principle followed by the old HSK,the "new" principle of the new HSK exam mainly lies in following the "combination of examination and teaching" principle,emphasizing the combination of test content and the Chinese language textbooks used,in order to achieve the goal of promoting teaching and learning through the exam."HSK Standard Tutorial" is compiled based on the concept of "combining examination and teaching,promoting learning through examination,and promoting teaching through examination".The purpose of this set of textbooks is different from that of general textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The main purpose of this set of textbooks is to help Chinese learners successfully pass the HSK exam.The teaching syllabus is the regulation for textbook writing,teaching,and evaluation,and the textbook and exam questions should be highly consistent with the teaching syllabus.With the introduction of the new syllabus and the continuous updates of the HSK exam,this set of textbooks is still the preferred textbook for teachers to guide the HSK exam.What is the degree of matching between this set of textbooks and them?Can continuing to use this set of textbooks effectively help students pass the new HSK exam smoothly? Further exploration is needed.This article uses comparative analysis methods,based on the new HSK Level 2exam outline and the new HSK Level 2 exam real questions,to conduct research on "HSK Standard Tutorial 2".From the perspectives of vocabulary,grammar,and topic,the matching degree between the outline and real questions,textbook and real questions,and textbook and outline is analyzed to evaluate the matching degree between "Tutorial 2" and the new HSK Level 2 exam.Based on this,suggestions are proposed for the writing and use of "Tutorial 2".Research has found that overall,Tutorial 2 has a high degree of matching with the new HSK Level 2 exam,making it a practical textbook suitable for Chinese learners to prepare for the new HSK Level 2 exam.Continuing to use this textbook by teachers and students can help students pass the new HSK exam smoothly.Specifically:firstly,in terms of vocabulary,"Tutorial 2" has a high degree of matching between the outline vocabulary and the high-frequency vocabulary of the real question,but there are some issues with excessive coverage of super outline vocabulary and high-frequency vocabulary of the real question,and there is a significant difference in the number of new words between each lesson in "Tutorial 2".Second,In terms of grammar,the high-frequency grammar matching between the syllabus and the real questions in Tutorial 2 is weaker than that of vocabulary,and there are more grammar points beyond the syllabus and hidden grammar points.The textbook does not pay enough attention to grammar teaching.Third,In terms of topics,the matching degree between the outline and the real topic in Tutorial 2 is weaker than that in grammar,and there are some missing topics in both large and small topics.Therefore,the following suggestions are proposed for the compilation and use of textbooks: in terms of textbook compilation,the number of new words in each lesson must be adjusted to reduce the number of words beyond the syllabus;Reduce grammar points beyond the outline and supplement missing grammar points;Supplement missing topics.In terms of textbook use,teachers should fully analyze the textbook,grasp the key points,difficulties,advantages and disadvantages of the textbook,and connect old knowledge with new knowledge;Students should learn to summarize and accumulate,summarize the key and difficult points of exams,adopt various forms of learning,and fully utilize the language learning environment.
