The New HSK lanched by Chinese Hanban is a standardized international Chinese language proficiency test for non-native Chinese speakers to examine their Chinese application on daily studying and working life.The New HSK,since its launch in 2009 by the warm welcome both home and abroad and played a good role in promoting Chinese internationalization.The cultures elements should be combined with the language studying in the foreign language teaching because of the special relation between language and culture,meanwhile the various cultural factors will also be reflected on the examination questions.So,the culture factors research in test of New HSK contributes to the development of international Chinese language education.In this thesis,we count and analyze systematically the cultural factors in official examination papers of the New HSK level-4 to level-6 of Edition 2010?2012and2014,using the methods of literature analysis?statistical analysis and interdisciplinary research methods.This paper is divided into four chapters.The preface introduces the research purpose?significance?the object of the study and the research methods,and describes the literature review of the new HSK and culture.In the first chapter,the basic introduction of the new HSK,including the exams structure and characteristics.The second chapter mainly introduces the relationship between culture and cultural factors.And then the cultural factors in the new HSK of past exam papers are divided into fifteen categories,the classification of cultural factors is also illustrated.In the third chapter,we not only count and analyze the proportion of culture factors in new HSK based of the previous classification,but point out the features and put forward some shortcomings.In the fourth chapter,we make some suggestions based on washback effect of language testing to the culture teaching of international Chinese language education,to hope to spread the Chinese culture and promote Chinese language to the world better.
