| The conjunctions are more virtual parts of speech than prepositions and adverbs, which are doomed to be impossible to be given specific and detailed explanations in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It increases the difficulty of learning and gives rise to a number of errors during the Chinese learning of foreign students. As one of the most basic and important reference factors for teaching, the textbook determines the teaching content and arrangement directly. Thus, this paper selects two Chinese comprehensive textbooks for foreigners: Chinese Course and Developing Chinese.and examines the compiling of "bing","bingqie","raner","erqie","wulun","zhiyao",and "haishi" in teaching material. The seven conjunctions are collectively referred to as "error-prone conjunctions" in this paper, which are often misused by international students.By comparing the differences in the writing of the two sets of textbooks and taking into account the error of using, the strengths and weaknesses of the writing of the textbooks are drawn out to provide worthwhile suggestions for the writing of future Chinese language textbooks for foreigners. Finally, the article proceeds from the textbook and combines errors analysis to present pedagogical countermeasures and instructional design. This paper consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the research status, reasons and significance of the topic, the object of the study, corpus sources, and research methods. The second part combines the current research and the statistics of conjunction to select seven "error-prone conjunctions",which are more prone to error during the process of using them for international students, and briefly summarize the types of errors. The third part compares the arrangement of the seven "error-prone conjunctions" in the two sets of textbooks, including the differences in annotation, reiteration, and practice settings, discusses the strengths and weaknesses, and then proposes some suggestions on the compilation of teaching material. The fourth part puts forward the corresponding strategies for teaching in terms of compiling textbooks. The fifth part is the conclusion, which explains the main ideas of this paper,as well as the shortcomings of the study, and points to the future directions of further research. |
