Wang Shizhen was an important representative in the literary world of Kangxi in the early Qing dynasty.He created a series of works called“Yuyang Shuo Bu”,which is an important milestone in the history of Shuo Bu and has very prominent literary features,because of its truthfulness and image,it has high academic research value and social significance.In the first part of this paper,the author analyzes and sorts out the concept of“Shuo Bu”,discusses the literary features and contribution of Wang Shizhen Shuo Bu,and examines the official career of Wang Shizhen,in order to highlight his official experience on the creation of material accumulation;The main text of this study is selected from the works of Wang Shizhen Shuo Bu,such as Chi bei Ou Tan,Ju Yi Lu,Xiang Zu Bi Ji,Gu Fu Yu Ting Za Lu and Fen Gan Yu Hua,the literati images in the literature are divided into three categories: abiding by the tradition,ultra-free and unrestrained,and being difficult to conform to the truth.In the second part,the author first discusses the traditional literati group,and shows their character of inheriting loyalty,filial piety,integrity and benevolence;Secondly,it discusses the group of ultra-free and unrestrained scholars,aiming at the recluses and madmen recorded in the literature,and specifically studies their characteristics of poverty and happiness,reclusive mountains and forests,and proud words,unrestrained behavior,etc.This paper analyzes the group of scholar-officials of“The name is difficult to match with the reality ” again,and takes the image of the hypocritical and aggressive scholar-officials described in the literature as the cut-in point,it further explains the characteristics of the times in which the style of scholars is declining and the style of study is decadent.The third part,based on the previous analysis and research,focuses on the significance of Shizhen Wang’s creation and portrayal of scholars’ images as a reflection on the style of study and the style of scholars and the call for the character of traditional confucianists after the Ming dynasty,it further highlights the important value and status of Shizhen Wang’s works in the development history of Ming and Qing dynasties.
