| "Bullet chat" was originally a military term used to refer to the use of intensive firepower to bombard an area. The term was first used to watch online videos in 2006 on the Japanese bullet screen video sharing website "Nico Nico ".Subsequently, after the domestic video website "Ac Fun" introduced this feature from "Nico Nico " in2008,the bullet chat video website "bilibili" was also introduced.Today’s "bullet chat" is no longer limited to the original ACG cultural circle, but has entered the public perspective, forming a unique visual culture and display mechanism.Among them, the bullet screen video website "bilibili" plays an important role. This study takes the bullet chat in the "bilibili" video website as the main research object to explore why the relationship between graphics and text in current visual culture has reached this point.Firstly, starting from the development history of the bullet screen and platform, this paper examines how this cultural phenomenon has evolved from subculture to popular culture.Furthermore, through the visual analysis of the bullet chat,we can explore how the bullet chat caters to the current visual aspirations of people. Therefore,we can try to analyze the visual culture and display mechanism in which people currently live. The research first believes that the bullet chat is not a complete network landscape or a contemporary panoramic prison, but a contemporary phenomenon of the relationship between images and characters in the long history of development. The bullet chat indicates a new but not unfamiliar visual culture, which is a form of expression of individual will, and it also links the ancient visual culture and the current display mechanism. |
