As one of the important sources of online neologisms,Bilibili’s bullet screen neologisms have also become an effective channel for Chinese learners to learn Chinese vocabulary and understand Chinese social culture.Applying relevant theories of cognitive linguistics to analyze the generation mechanism and cognitive mechanism of Bilibili bullet screen neologisms will help us further understand the characteristics and development trends of Chinese neologisms,and also help us explore new methods and ideas for applying Bilibili bullet screen neologisms to international Chinese vocabulary teaching.This article first defines the new vocabulary of the Bilibili bullet screen and analyzes its relationship with international Chinese vocabulary teaching.Secondly,through the research methods of induction,analysis,and comparison,representative new words from the barrage of Bilibili were selected and classified according to word creation methods.The generation mechanism was analyzed with examples,and their meanings were explained.On this basis,relevant theories of cognitive linguistics were applied to further analyze the cognitive motivation of the new words in the Bilibili bullet screen.Research has shown that the benefits of bullet screen neologisms on Bilibili outweigh the disadvantages in language teaching and learning.Applying them to international Chinese vocabulary teaching has certain practicality and feasibility.Based on the applicable context of bullet screen neologisms,this article selects《Don’t Be Shy-Intermediate and Advanced Chinese Audiovisual and Oral Tutorial" Ι》 The text unfolds instructional design.Finally,an estimate was made of the teaching effectiveness of this instructional design,and suggestions were given for possible problems with bullet screen neologisms in teaching and learning.
