| This dissertation focuses on three snowy landscapes,which have long been regarded as authentic works of Huang Gongwang in his later years,namely "The Nine Peaks after Snowfall","Calling on Dai at Shan Stream",and " Clearing After Sudden Snow ".Through the analysis of the form and brush-and-ink of these three works,as well as the textual research on their history of collection,seals,and other specific issues,this article attempts to analyze the quality and true identity of these three works.The article believes that " The Nine Peaks after Snowfall " is a surviving authentic work of Huang Gongwang’s snowy landscape,while the " Calling on Dai at Shan Stream " and " Clearing After Sudden Snow " are not Huang Gongwang’s original works.Based on this conclusion,the author attempts to clarify the true features of Huang Gongwang’s snowy landscapes and the height of his brush-and-ink in his later years.,explore the significance of snowy landscapes to Huang Gongwang,and discuss the subsequent falsification of Huang Gongwang’s snowy landscapes. |
