This article takes Huang Gongwang’s "Nine Peaks After Snow" as a case study and discusses it from the perspectives of "symbolism" and "allegory",re-examining the Taoist faith background of Huang Gongwang and the "Nine Peaks" in the case.Longitudinal comparison and analysis of the similarities and differences between Huang Gongwang’s "Nine Peaks after Snow" and his similar works,as well as other painters’ snow scenery and landscape works of the same period.Through the study of the location management,ink language,spiritual temperament,as well as the inscription and material of "Nine Peaks after Snow",this study explores its symbolic significance and spiritual temperament,and delves into the "simplicity of the main road",humanistic care,and noble concept of "snow peak" in "Nine Peaks after Snow",Thus revealing the profound embedding and representation of Huang Gongwang’s landscape spirit has important practical significance and academic value for the current theme creation of landscape painting.
