Design And Research Of Children’s Popular Science Picture Books On Endangered Animals

Biodiversity is an important basis for human survival and development.In China,the concept of protecting endangered animals,paying attention to biodiversity,and "Lucian waters and lush mountains are gold and silver mountains" has been repeatedly mentioned,and has been deeply implemented in all aspects of environmental protection and management and ecological market economy construction.Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,ecological and environmental protection got off to a good start in the 14 th Five-Year Plan.In the general environment of the construction of ecological civilization,along with the cultural development of our country and the improvement of education level,through the visual language of the art,the publicity and popularization of endangered animal protection concept is increasingly rising to the public in the form of exhibitions and popular science picture books for children.Among them,the education on the concept of "life education" and "environmental protection" of the children group,as the future of the country,has received extensive social attention.In this paper,the photographic art exhibition "The Disappearing World,Their Future,and Ours" on the topic of "the dignity of life" and "nature protection" is taken as the entry point.From the perspective of art,through the research on the development characteristics of children’s psychological cognition,the development characteristics of children’s visual perception and the narrative pictures of children’s popular science picture books,the design and research of children’s popular science picture books of endangered animals are carried out.Explore and create popular science picture books on endangered animals that are easy for children to read,and inspire children to think about protecting endangered animals and respecting every living organism in a beautiful way and artistic language.This paper studies and discusses the design of popular science picture books for children with endangered animals from three aspects: preliminary investigation and research,design strategy and theoretical basis,and design practice and application.Firstly,field investigation and data collection were conducted on the market basis of children’s popular science picture books in China,and the exhibition needs and core elements were refined to complete the integration of audience needs and research value.Secondly,based on children,this paper studies how visual communication design plays a role in children’s popular science education at the level of theoretical principles.Finally,the analysis of the first two sections serves as the guiding basis for the theoretical preparation in the early stage of practice to carry out the practical work of popular science picture books for children of endangered animals,and constantly improve and consolidate the cognition of the theoretical requirements in practice.
