Research On Visual Language Of Children’s Popular Science Picture Books

Children’s popular science picture books present complex scientific knowledge with easy to understand,simple and clear artistic language,and are loved by parents and children.The study of children’s popular science picture books helps to promote the innovation and development of China’s original children’s popular science picture books,inspire the renewal of educational forms,and is conducive to the development of children.Compared with the general story picture books,children’s popular science picture books also need to combine interest and science,which puts forward higher requirements for picture book creators.This study will use literature research and observation methods to analyze the visual language of children’s popular science picture books.Children’s popular science picture books have four characteristics: knowledge,interest,interaction and artistry.At present,most of the children’s popular science picture books in the market are imported books,and few of the original popular science picture books in China,Popular science picture books are mostly imported picture books,characterized by obvious style,more and more fancy picture books,focusing on building team brand,and listed in series books.Based on the investigation and analysis of children’s popular science picture books,the author analyzes the visual language of children’s popular science picture books from three aspects of picture design,text design and binding design with a large number of examples,so as to provide a theoretical basis for practical creation.The National Grand Theater is a landmark building in China,an international style architectural work,and a representative of the national image.Promoting the National Grand Theater is conducive to promoting Chinese culture and promoting the development of socialist cultural construction.The children’s popular science picture book practice project "Hello,National Grand Theater" analyzes the ideas and process of picture book creation from two perspectives of picture book positioning and picture book creation,hoping that this creation can provide inspiration for the development of children’s popular science picture book.
