| Teaching Chinese as a Second Language has been developed rapidly in the past few years,a huge number of scholars have joined the study of TCSL,which makes academic achievement ever-growing,and the number of articles realted to TCSL on CNKI is up to55871 by the end of December 31 2021.Therefore,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of these academic achievements will help us grasp the main structure and development trend of TCSL,which can provide us new ideas for subsequent research in this field.CiteSpace is a visual research tool that has emerged in recent years,which can objectively present the hot topics and evolution trends in a certain field,so as to understand the knowledge system in that field.Therefore,using the information visualization method,literature research method and statistical method as the research methods to analyze the co-citation of articles,co-occurrence of keywords,and mutation of keywords about 722 articles related to TCSL on CSSCI from 2000 to 2021,this article depends on the visual analysis software CiteSpace5.8.R3 to explore the knowledge base,hot topics,diachronic evolution,development trend of TCSL in the past 22 years.After analysis,we have concluded that the knowledge base of this research include24 literatures and 11 academic journals in the past 22 years,and the research hotspots mainly focus on five themes: the ontology of Chinese teaching,the study of teaching methods,the study of student cognition and acquisition,the study of Chinese teaching materials,and the construction of Chinese teaching disciplines and the promotion of undertakings.The research has evolved into the stage of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(2000-2004),Chinese International Education(2005-2018),International Chinese Langauge Education(2019-).Research frontiers include: International Chinese education,research on Chinese language teaching under the Belt and Road Initiative and the COVID-19 pandemic. |
